The Forecast for Central Texas, Sep. 5th-Sep 9th: A weak ridge of high pressure in place over Texas will cause mostly sunny, dry and warm conditions today through Monday. High temperatures each day will be in the middle 90s. The high pressure ridge looks to weaken beginning early next week. Increasing moisture off the Gulf of Mexico will lead to a few isolated showers next Wednesday and Thursday but no signficant rain totals are forecast. Warm temperatures will continue next week, with highs generally in the low to middle 90s.
