LCRA honors burn bans issued by individual counties where its parks are located. So when in doubt, check the Texas Interagency Coordination Center's Web site at www.tamu.edu/ticc for a link to the latest map showing Texas counties that have issued burn bans.
The ground fires are banned because continuing dry conditions could lead to wildfires.
The possession and discharge of fireworks, including sparklers and firecrackers, is always prohibited on LCRA lands and waters.
For more information, e-mail LCRA parks or call LCRA at (512) 473-3200, Ext. 3512.
* Bastrop parks have restricted fires to charcoal and gas grills only.
