The public is invited to attend open houses concerning proposed improvements to two LCRA parks. Staff from the Lower Colorado River Authority will share information and gather comments on plans for LCRA’s Gloster Bend and Muleshoe Bend recreation areas.
The first open house will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, at the Lago Vista Secondary School Cafeteria, 20801 Highway 1431 in Lago Vista.
The second open house will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department Hall, 9805 Highway 71 East in Spicewood.
“We’d like to share information and answer any questions concerning possible improvements to the parks,” said Marcia Purvis, LCRA project manager for the proposed Gloster Bend project.
“The parks are there to serve area residents and tourists, and we want to hear local opinions and ideas,” added Katherine Gonzalez, project manager for the proposed Muleshoe Bend project.
