Boat ramp at Mansfield Dam Park reopened; status of other Lake Travis public boat ramps, parks

Travis County and LCRA will be reopening public boat ramps at several of their facilities this week as follows:

Already open ( Travis County parks):

  • Mansfield Dam Park boat ramp

Reopening 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 ( Travis County parks):

  • Pace Bend Park, Collier Cove boat ramp, west side of park (day use only)

Reopening 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 (LCRA recreation areas):

  • Gloster Bend
  • The Narrows

Reopening 8 a.m. Thursday, July 19 ( Travis County parks):

  • Cypress Creek Park
  • Sandy Creek Park

All other public boat ramps at Travis County and LCRA facilities remain closed until the elevation of Lake Travis drops further.

As of July 16, all Travis County parks are open for day use except for Bob Wentz Park, the east side of Pace Bend Park and the camping area at Cypress Creek Park. Check Travis County for latest updates.

More information on LCRA recreation areas
All other LCRA recreation areas at the lake – Turkey Bend, Shaffer Bend, Grelle and Muleshoe Bend – are open to foot and bicycle traffic but closed to all other vehicles as roadways continue to dry out. Visitors may park their vehicles outside the recreation areas and enter on foot or bicycle. Be aware that picnic and restroom facilities may be unusable as the facilities continue to dry out.
